Phnom Penh (FN), August 30 – Three foreign leaders of National Institute for Democracy (NDI) left Cambodia on Tuesday, according to Sok Phal, Director General of Immigration.

The three staff members have been identified by NDI as John S. Cavanaugh and Joseph Gayeski, from the United States, and Ana Kitic from Serbia.

The Royal Government of Cambodia decided to stop the operation of NDI and expel its foreign staff from the Kingdom for failure to comply with Cambodian legislation, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' statement dated  Wednesday.
