Phnom Penh (FN), September 1 - Prime Minister Hun Sen had a bilateral discussion with Laotian Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh on Friday.

Prime Minister Hun Sen expressed a positive attitude toward Cambodia-Laos relation and both sides agreed to resolve border issue.

The Foreign Ministers of the two countries will meet in Phnom Penh to seek reconciliation and mutual understanding.

The Lao side has agreed to resolve the four remaining issues requested by Cambodia.

The two sides agreed to settle the exact border between the two countries by going directly to the site.

The premiers of the two countries will write a letter to the French President to transfer the map scale from 1/100,000 to 1/50,000 and to provide required documents related to the Cambodia-Laos border.

The premier thanked the Prime Minister of Lao PDR for comig to Cambodia to discuss the border.

On August 12, PM Hun Sen led a delegation to discuss the border situation with Lao Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith.
