Phnom Penh (FN), September 11 – A lawmaker from Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) fled from Cambodia to Thailand yesterday via Battambang, while authorities are investigating on those who involved in Kem Sokha's treacherous case, according to Prime Minister Hun Sen.

The announcement was made on Monday morning while presiding over the graduation ceremony in Phnom Penh.

"The escaped person was involved in the distribution of bread to protesters after the 2013 election. Others was also frightened. This is not a small deal” said the premier.

“CNRP’s lawmaker who crossed the border at 5:20 pm yesterday should come back. If needs be, we can cooperate with Thailand to bring you back” he added.

The premier did not mention who that CNRP’s lawmaker was.
