Phnom Penh (FN), September 14 - The Union Journalist Federations of Cambodia issued a press statement on Thursday calling for ending unnecessary messages that will lead to "War of Words".

UJFC noted that in this period, US Embassy as well as political activists, civil activist in Cambodia have released a series of press releases, including pictures, statements and announcements of security measures and expressions of concern about "word warfare".

In the press statement, UJFC called on political Activists, civil activities, media outlets to be patient and consider high conscious, and be careful of image announcement.  

"We call for a true statement to avoid misunderstanding and war. We must jointly exercise our rights in a moral, dignified and responsible manner, demonstrating the stability and maturity of democracy. Cambodians are capable of dignified debate respecting each other's values and interests. Today, Cambodians are a citizen of pacifism and seek to strengthen friendship. Do not create enemies for Cambodians,” stated UJFC.
