Phnom Penh (FN), October 31 - Hun Manet, a lieutenant general in the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, announced on Tuesday, a bet with Men Nath, Chairman of the CWCI and his team.

The bet was made after Men Nath and his team accused Hun Manet of hiding $200 million at BNP bank and buying Le Palais Socialiste's headquarters in France, with a bidding up to €58 million (about $68 million).

Hun Manet confirmed that he is willing to quit politics if Men Nath has enough document proving that he has the money and is bidding for the building as he was accused.

To make this bet quicker and to show the public a clear view, Hun Manet also declared that the documents could be submitted to the French embassy in Cambodia or the Cambodian embassy in France, asking BNP or the auctioneer to formally certify whether it is true or false document.

“If Men Nath has the proof, I will give him all the money that he has accused me and make a public contract that I will quit politics for the rest of my life.

However, if Men Nath cannot give sufficient proof to confirm his allegations, I will ask Men Nath to make an apology for me to the public and make a public contract that he will quit politics for the rest of his life”, Hun Manet wrote on his Facebook.
