Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 6 – The governor of Phnom Penh on Wednesday conducted a meeting on the cancellation and revoke the improper Cambodian administrative documents from foreigners who are living in Cambodia.

The meeting on the implementation of Sub-Decree No. 129 was held under the presence of Sok Phal, director-general of the General Department of Immigration of the Ministry of Interior and Khoung Sreng, Governor of Phnom Penh with the participation of 12 district authorities.

The authority ceased illegal documents include family books, residence books, identity cards, and passports from 21,000 foreigners who are living in Phnom Penh.

Sok Phal said that in 2002, there were 70,012 foreigners with 20 nationalities living in Cambodia.

Between 2002 and 2015, there were about 200,000 people living in Cambodia with 12 nationalities but most of them were Vietnamese.
