Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 13 - With a forecast of more than 4 million passengers in 2017 and expected to get at least 7 million passengers in 2020, the government officially opened the arrivals hall and the departure hall at Phnom Penh's Pochentong airport.
The opening ceremony was held on Wednesday, and presided over by H.E. Bin Chhin, the Acting Minister in charge of the Office of the Council of Ministers.
Cambodia is transforming itself into an attractive aviation and tourist hub in the region and the world with a geographically well-functioning and diverse geographical area, Cambodia's peaceful, political stability and one of the fastest-growing tourism markets in Southeast Asia, according to H.E Mao Havannall State Secretariat of Civil Aviation.
The new terminal would help to facilitate and give comfort to air passengers by maintaining a high quality of security and safety.
