Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 17 - The Cambodia-EAEU Business Forum 2017 was held on Saturday by the Ministry of Commerce and Cambodian Chamber of Commerce, presided over by Minister of Commerce Pan Sorasak.

The ceremony took place at the Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel, with the participation of Kith Meng, President of Cambodian Chamber of Commerce, and Tatyana Valovaya, Minister in charge of Integration of EEC, and Ly Hour, Vice President of Cambodian Chamber of Commerce as well as many relevant directors.

On the occasion, Ly Hour said that the construction is currently a prominent and remarkable sector. Investors both inside and outside the country are taking a keen interest in the sector, and it is a great opportunity to invest in construction sector in Cambodia compared to the ASEAN countries.

He added that from 2000 to 2016, 309 projects are worth more than $4 billion, with investments from 18 countries, of which China ranked the first followed by Korea, Japan, Singapore, and Thailand.
