Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 2 – By 2017, Cambodia exports more than 630,000 tons of rice, an increase of 17% compared to 2016.

The official report that Fresh News received on Tuesday confirmed that in 2017, Cambodia has exported rice to more than 60 countries worldwide.

The largest Cambodian rice import was China, accounting for 200,000 tons, followed by France 80,000 tons, and Poland 40,000 tons.

The report added that there are 84 companies exporting rice abroad, and among those, Cristal Rice, Green Rice, and City Rice, are the largest exporters.
