PHNOM PENH, March 12 (FN) — Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen left here on Saturday for a two-day working visit to Laos in order to further boost ties and cooperation between the two neighboring countries.

During the visit, the premier will hold bilateral talks with his Laotian counterpart Thongsing Thammavong, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Hun Sen wrote on his Facebook page that "the visit will mainly focus on the strengthening of bilateral relations for the benefits of the peoples of the two countries."

His entourage includes Senate President Say Chhum, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Hor Namhong, Deputy Prime Minister and Cabinet Minister Sok An, and Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Gen. Tea Banh.
