On his part, Deputy Prime Minister Hor Namhong said that tension in the Korean Peninsular was not only a concern for South Korea, but also Cambodia and other countries in the region. He took the opportunity to call on North Korea to return to the negotiation table with the five superpowers, which is a key to peaceful conflict resolution.

Tension in the Korean Peninsular arose notably after N. Korea had conducted their missile-tests again and again in defiance of warnings by the UN Security Council and major superpowers including the United States.
