Phnom Penh (FN), March 25 – Cambodians living in Long Beach expressed support toward the presence of son of the Prime Minister Hun Sen, Hun Manet in the United States and declared to go against any individuals who cause problems in the upcoming marching on April 10th, 2016 in Long Beach, California.
A group of Cambodians who love peace and democracy announced that they will respond in any forms, by any means to those against Hun Manet’s marching.
We are delighted to welcome Nephew Hun Manet and everyone to celebrate Khmer New Year with us. May all Cambodian people embrace the solidarity among Khmer to present our beautiful culture, said a representative of Cambodia’s group living in Long Beach adding that this is not the first time that the opposition party acts against heads of the leading party even when Prime Minister Hun Sen attended the UN’s meeting representing Cambodian nation.
Recently, Manet requested Borey Cambodia Committee to consider inviting heads of CNRP to celebrate Khmer New Year together. On his Facebook Page, he wrote that “I hope all Cambodians will unite to celebrate the prestigious culture of Khmer New Year together to express the solidarity with one another as a whole Khmer’s Family”.
