Phnom Penh (FN), March 28 – During the inauguration of road construction in Kandal province, Prime Minister Hun Sen stated that S. Korea put efforts in granting aid and loan to Cambodia and that he would like to request for another $10 million fund for the road construction phase II.

The premier’s request was sent through Korean ambassador to Cambodia to President of S. Korea Park Geun-Hye. He also added that the remaining $10 million fund shall not be cut from other projects.

Prime Minister Hun Sen publicly announced that he is proud of the foreign policies and relations between Cambodia and S. Korea adding that he will complete this mission.

This morning of March 28, 2016, the premier presided over the inauguration of road construction no. 21 in Kandal province, 30km south of Phnom Penh. This road rehabilitation project is funded by S. Korea with the budget of $61 million. The road is 55km long extends over 42 bridges, which requires 36 months under technical supervision of Korean company Dasan and development of Korean company Hanshin.
