Sihanoukville (FN), July 17 – Sihanoukville provincial authorities decided Tuesday morning to temporarily suspend traffic on National Road No. 4 due to flooding that came across the road and bridge.

As of Tuesday afternoon, flooding across National Road No 4 was more serious between Kilometers 106-107, at the O'Koki Bridge, Sihanoukville-Kampong Speu border. The flood passes through Samrong bridge about 500-600 meters long with one meter high. Now, traffic continued to be temporarily suspended, stated General Choun Narin, police chief of Sihanoukville province.

General Choun Narin added that Kompong Speu's Kampong Seila district police is working with relevant forces to control the situation and that commuters can use National Road 3 instead.
