Phnom Penh (FN), July 17 - Representatives of political parties, civil society organizations, and relevant stakeholders confirmed that the indelible ink, which will be used for the 6th mandate election, is of high quality and has no chemical substances that affect health.

The confirmation was made after National Election Committee (NEC) held the ink quality experiment on Tuesday at the NEC headquarter based at Ministry of Interior.

NEC ordered 51,000 bottles of ink from India, delivered to Cambodia on 5 July and 7 July 2018 to be used in more than 20,000 voting offices across the country.

NEC spokesman Hang Puthea said on Monday that NEC will deliver two bottles to each polling station, keep 3,292 bottles at the Provincial/municipal Election Commission (PEC) and 1,774 bottles at the NEC.
