Phnom Penh (FN), July 23 – Cambodian Minister of National Defense Tea Banh, representing Prime Minister Hun Sen, on Monday, presided over the homecoming ceremony of Cambodian blue beret engineers that successfully completed the mission in Mali and South Sudan.

The ceremony was held at the Friendship Building of the Council of Ministers, Phnom Penh, with the participation of the leaders and general commanders of the defense ministry, United Nation representatives, national and international guests, and journalists.

According to Defense Ministry spokesman General Chum Socheat, the repatriated Cambodia peacekeeping force in total of 372 includes 165 airfield engineer-189, 144 explosive ordnance disposal-123 from Mali, and 73 military police-618 from South Sudan.
