Phnom Penh (FN), August 15 - Addressing to 15,000 workers from 17 factories in Phnom Penh's Por Sen Chey on Wednesday, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen felt deeply regretful that former opposition leader Sam Rainsy accused him of hiring a murderer to kill Sam Rainsy in France.

"If I wanted to kill you [Rainsy], when you were in the kingdom, you would have been killed by just guava," stated the premier.

"I do not want you to die. I did not even want to kill Khmer Rouge leaders that caused us so much pain. You [Rainsy] don't know Hun Sen clearly," he added.

Sam Rainsy was not worth the effort to response back, the premier said, "Cambodian people are mature enough to judge on the matter and wise enough to decide whether to vote or not to vote."
