Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 15 - Yang Saing Koma‎, Co-president of Grassroots Democratic Party (GDP), on Wednesday expressed his support on Prime Minister Hun’s initiate to host an informal forum with 20 political parties to exchange views on national development.

"Regarding the proposal to host a national dialogue among all political parties, I think it is a good idea, for GDP also noted it down in our "green policy book" said GDP president in a video he shared on Facebook on Wednesday.

He added that "We would like to request that the dialogue will be based on value of integrity, national solidarity, and unity in our multi-party liberal democratic society."

Prime Minister Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), announced to host a forum with all the 20 political parties addressing to 15,000 workers from 17 factories in Phnom Penh on Wednesday.

The forum aimed to create dialogue between the ruling and opposition parties for the sake of national development.

"I want this informal forum to bear fruits from each party for the contributions to national development [...]," said the premier, adding that, it is our interests and our harmony created by culture of dialogue.
