Phnom Penh (FN), August 16 - Cambodian People's Party (CPP) spokesman Sok Eysan said on Thursday that the new government, led by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, is committed to transform the party's policies into a reality for the causes of the kingdom and the Cambodian people, speaking at a press conference of the CPP on the official election results at the Sofitel Phnom Penh on Thursday.

The spokesman believed that the CPP is optimistic in election victory and reassured that the Royal Government of the new mandate will promote her effectiveness in developing Cambodia.

He added that the government’s one window service and salary remuneration through banking system will reduce passiveness of government officials.  

Prime Minister Hun Sen once stated that the new mandate of the Royal Government will reform all policies to improve the lives of Cambodians.

"We all have to continue our efforts. The CPP's burden is even stronger, as people have already trusted the CPP; what remains is our efforts to develop the country,” stated the premier adding that “Rectangular Strategy – Phase IV has been formulated.”

According to his announcement, the first session of National Assembly will be held on 5th September 2018, presided over by Cambodian King, His Majesty Norodom Sihamoni, and the new government will be established on the following day.
