Phnom Penh (FN), May 26 – A senior official of the opposition Cambodian National Rescue Party said in a press release earlier today that a car belonging to CNRP’s acting president, Kem Sokha, was stopped by armed police on Norodom Boulevard at around 11:30 am.

Senior CNRP official, Eng Chhay Eang, said in the press release posted on Facebook today, May 26, 2016, that police let the car off after searching and did not find Kem Sokha inside.
In the meantime, Cambodia Police Commissioner General Neth Savoeun told the press that Sokha Has not been arrested.
