Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 16 - The Royal Government of Cambodia spokesman Phay Siphan announced on Tuesday that the participation of Prime Minister Hun Sen to the 12th Asia-Europe Summit (12th ASEM Summit) in Brussels will benefit Cambodia and ASEAN.

Invited officially by the European Council President Donald Tusk and Chairman of the European Commission Jean Claude Jucker, the premier will deliver a keynote focusing on "Partnerships for the 2030 Agenda for the Sustainable Development Goals”.

On the visit to Geneva, the Cambodian government and EU will continue to address the differences or challenges of the Everything But Arms (EBA) schemes.

According to the spokesman, Cambodian textile industry would not be seriously harmed.
