Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 28 - At least 70 political parties from 36 countries welcomed Cambodian People's Party (CPP) to host official launching ceremony of the Asian Cultural Council (ACC) in Phnom Penh in 2019, Khoun Sudary, member of the CPP's permanent committee, said in a press conference on Sunday at Phnom Penh International Airport upon successfully leading the delegation of the CPP to attend the 10th General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties ICAPP) in Moscow, Russia, from 24-27 October 2018.

"The General Assembly unanimously approved the Cambodian People’s Party to hold the official launching of the Asian Cultural Council in Phnom Penh on 11- 12 February 2019 under the tenure of Samdech Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, as the honorary founding chairman,” stated Sudary.

Sudary said the 10th ICAPP General Assembly was hosted by the United Russian Party, which was represented by party leaders, including Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev attended the closing session; and participated by 400 delegates from 36 countries.
