Samdech Prime Minister Hun Sen has made it clear that Cambodia will not join in endorsing any statement on the South China Sea issues. He said it would not cost Cambodia any more than what it did in 2012 and that he would like to call on countries involved in the conflicts to meet and negotiate with each other.
