Phnom Penh (FN), August 18 – Police of the investigation department of the National Police General Department of Immigration have deported home 22 Vietnamese (two women) after they had come and lived illegally in Sieam Reap, Koh Kong and Phnom Penh, a senior police officer said.

“The 22 arrested Vietnamese, of whom two were women, were deported back to Vietnam via Chak international border crossing,” said Major General Ouk Hay Seyla, head of investigation department who added that, under the order from Senior General Sok Phal, the immigration police will continue to make arrest of foreigners who come and stay in Cambodia illegally.
