Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 7 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen announced Saturday evening that a 31-year-old Cambodian bodyguard, who had contacted Hungarian delegation during an official visit to Cambodia, was tested positive for COVID19.

The premier called on those who had contacts with the Hungarian delegation to strictly follow health and quarantine guidelines set by the Ministry of Health.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó was tested positive in Bangkok after he departed Phnom Penh on 3 November after concluding the official visit to Cambodia.

To date, Cambodia has confirmed 294 cases of COVID19 with 288 recoveries and no death.
