JAKARTA, Jan. 4 (Xinhua) — Indonesia has suspended all forms of military cooperation with Australia due to humiliation of its national principle, a military spokesman said on Wednesday.

Indonesia made the decision in mid December last year, military spokesman Maj. General Wurjanto said.

"We temporarily terminate all form of cooperation with Australian military due to technical matters," he told Xinhua by phone.

The humiliation of Indonesia's national principle of Pancasila during a joint exercise between Indonesian special unit force (Kopassus) and Australia's Special Air Service in Western Perth "is one of the main causes of the termination," the general added.
