Preah Sihanouk (FN), Jan 12 - Two giant massive cruises loading over 2,000 foreign tourists have docked at Cambodia's southwestern seaport in Sihanoukville province.

The two cruises docked at the port on Thursday morning, the first of which is called SEABOURN SOJOURN holding 449 passengers of 25 nationalities including 210 Americans and 78 British, along with 350 crew members.

The second cruise is COSTA VICTORIA holding 1,928 passengers along with 718 crew members. The two cruises are the third and fourth to dock at the port in just less than two weeks in 2017.

The two cruises are from Laem Chabang Port, Thailand, and will leave the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port at 9:00pm on the same day. The first cruise will head to Ho Chi Minh port and the second cruise will head to Phu Quoc Port, Vietnam.

Sihanoukville Police Chief Chhoun Narin said he was well-prepared to serve and provide safety for the tourists in both cruises and their departure from Sihanoukville Autonomous Port.
