Phnom Penh (FN), March 1 - A suspected killer of Oeuth Ang, known as "Choup Samlab" was brought to Phnom Penh Municipal Court on Wednesday.

He was arrested on July 10, 2016, after being accused of murdering Kem Ley, a popular social and political analyst, in the country's capitol, Phnom Penh.

He has been charged with premeditated murder and unauthorized possession of weapons under Article 200 and 490 of the criminal code.

The suspect is being defended by Yong Phanith.
