Phnom Penh (FN), March 3 - One day after Kem Sokha was elected as president of Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP), conversation messages via whatsapp among Kem Sokha and a senior CNRP member, and Prime Minister Hun Sen's Cabinet staff were leaked to the media.

The conversations were leaked late Friday among CNRP Lawmaker Mao Monivann and his boss Kem Sokha, and a senior staff of Premier Hun Sen's Cabinet of which identity was not revealed, alleging Kem Sokha through Mao Monivann had sought some advice from Hun Sen on a chance to get a presidential position of the CNRP after Sam Rainsy, the party's former president resigned on Feb. 11.

The leaked messages were posted on Seyha's facebook, a source of which it said came from CNRP member who is from Kem Sokha's faction and who was not happy with Kem Sokha, and suggested Sokha is as an irresponsible leader to his long-time and loyal member.
