MOSCOW, April 12 (Xinhua) -- Russian naval aviation will receive two Su-30SM advanced fighters in late April, the RIA Novosti news agency reported on Wednesday.

"In late April, the naval aviation will receive two Su-30SM multi-role advanced fighters in the framework of a program aimed at rearmament of the units," spokesman Captain 1st Rank Igor Dygalo Dygalo was quoted as saying.

Su-30SM is a two-seat fighter jet capable of carrying advanced high-precision air-to-air and air-to-surface weapons.
