Phnom Penh (FN), April 20 - Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will lead a delegation to visit Cambodia on April 24 to 26 at the invitation of Prime Minister Hun Sen, according to the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA)'s press release on Thursday.

Nguyen Xuan Phuc will be received in a Royal Pardon by King Norodom Sihamoni at the Royal Palace.

Vietnamese Prime Minister will meet with Cambodian top leaders including the President of Senate, Say Chhum, the President of the National Assembly, Heng Samrin, and Prime Minister Hun Sen.

The Vietnamese Prime Minister will also visit Samdech Preah Akka Moha Sangharājādhipati Tep Vong, the Great Supreme Patriarch of Mahanikaya of Cambodia.

The two Prime Ministers will preside over the inauguration of the bridge connecting Chrey Thom in Kandal province (Cambodia) and Long Binh in An Giang province (Vietnam) to be held on April 24.

At the conclusion of the official visit, a Joint Statement will be issued and a number of cooperative agreements are expected to be signed, the statement added.

The visit will mark the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Vietnam-Cambodia diplomatic ties to further impose better diplomatic relations, tradition, and cooperation between the two countries.
