Siem Reap (FN), May 23 - Angkor Wat's floating bridge will open to the public May 25, 2017. The bridge is 220 meters long and 10 meters wide.

Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts and President of APSARA Authority will lead the opening ceremony.

The renovation of the ancient bridge was completed with the help and generosity of the Apsara Authority and the University of Sofia in Japan.

All repairs of the ancient bridge are expected to be completed by 2020.

The bridge has been renovated three times since the 1950's.
