Phnom Penh (FN), May 25 – Phnom Penh Municipal Court sentenced two men to life imprisonment for transporting and possessing drugs.

The men were identified as Adybel Pascal, 43, and An Tony, 42. Both are Nigerian.

An Tony confessed that he flew from Nigeria to Dubai to meet with Nabi. Nabi asked him to swallow 1kg of cocaine and bring it to Okota in Cambodia. He was paid $3,000.

An Tony then left Dubai to Cambodia on April 9, 2016. An Tony was arrested on that day at Phnom Penh International Airport when police discovered drugs in his body.

Police also arrested Adybel Pascal, though, no drugs were found in him.

The cocaine was worth $150,000.
