Phnom Penh (FN), June 1 – Phnom Penh Capital Hall (PPCH) has set two conditions for the Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP)’s parade.

The parameters have been set in order to avoid any clashes with the ruling CPP party.

The guidelines require the CNRP to march on June 01 instead of June 02, as the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) will launch a large-scale march on that day and that CPP submitted the request first.

Secondly, the CNRP will be able to rally and march in Freedom Park but must follow a route to avoid the CPP.

“CNRP has not responded yet,” stated spokesman Meth Measpheakdey, adding that he's looking forward to meeting with the leaders of the CNRP.

He has urged the parties to have a mutual understanding to ensure the parade processes smoothly.
