Phnom Penh (FN), July 5 - The Supreme Court has ruled in favor of the Phnom Penh Municipal Court's (PPMC) earlier order to deny bail for the imprisoned political and social analyst, Kim Sok.

The Supreme Court announced the verdicts of Kim Sok's cases, which include a rejections of Kim Sok's release on bail as well as order to meet with plaintiff, according to Ky Tech, the premier’s lawyer and the plaintiff.

Kim Sok was detained by the PPMC on charges of public incitement and defamation on March 2017, after Ky Tech filed a lawsuit.

Kim Sok published statements suggesting that the Royal Government and the CPP were behind the murder of Kem Ley.
