Phnom Penh (FN), July 5 - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFA) has issued a letter urging Cambodian embassies and consulates abroad to pay attention to Khmer workers.

This includes their accommodations, health, and working conditions, according to a letter of Foreign Ministry’s spokesman, Chum Sounry.

The MoFA has received reports from Cambodian embassies and the consulates regarding the the loss of workers and the measures taken by the Cambodian authorities.

Some died due to health problems, work and traffic-related 5accidents.

Solutions to these the issue include healthcare education and the promotion of safe working conditions.

The programs will be addressed with the collaboration of the embassies and the consulates, along with the host country’s authorities.
