Phnom Penh (FN), July 13 - The Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia (TRC) has eliminated the operating licenses of three internet service providers due to bankruptcy and failure to operate in accordance to regulations.

The revocation of the licenses granted to three companies includes:

1: Eliminate the VSAT Telecommunication Service Operation License granted to Acumen Cambodia Co., Ltd.

2: Eliminate the Internet Service Provider Operations License (ISP) and Operations License for voice services via the Internet Protocol (VoIP) provided to E-Cloud Co., Ltd.

3: Eliminate Internet Service Provision (ISP) Operations License and License Operations License via the Internet Protocol (VoIP) provided to G-Tell (Cambodia) Investment Group Co., Ltd. (MEGA).

Im Vutha, spokesman for the Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia, confirmed that the cancellation of the three licenses does not affect the availability of internet services in Cambodia.
