Phnom Penh (FN), August 14 - During the first half of 2017, the volume of Cambodia-Thailand trade has reached approximately $2.9 billion, an increase of 9.89 percent compared to the same period of 2016, which was only $2.6 billion, according to report from Thailand Embassy in Phnom Penh.

In the first six months of 2017, Cambodia exported goods and products to Thailand in a total of 453.41 million USD, a decrease of 20%, while Thailand’s export to Cambodia was worth of $2.4 billion, an increase of 18%.

To promote Thai-Cambodian trade, Thailand Embassy will host the 2nd Thailand Products Expo 2017 in Phnom Penh from August 17 to 20, 2017 at Diamond Island Exhibition Center, with a total of 250 booths from 200 companies.

“The purpose of the exhibition is to promote quality and affordable Thai products, and to thank customers who always support Thai products,” said the representative of the Thai Embassy.
