Phnom Penh (FN), September 7 – The Permanent Committee of the National Assembly (N.A), after a meeting on Thursday, decided to hold an extraordinary meeting on Kem Sokha’s case on Friday.

The decision came after the court ordered to detain Cambodia National Rescue Party’s president Kem Sokha over committing treason, according to N.A’s spokesman Leng Peng Long.

The meeting will be presided over by Samdech Heng Samrin to review court’s report on Kem Sokha’s arrest and detention.
