Phnom Penh (FN), September 27 - Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia, has no hope that the U.S will remove two war-era bombs which left over from 1970s in Svay Rieng province.

The premier requested to use a special government’s budget package to deal with the problems of chemical bombs, which are threating citizens living nearby.

This remark was made on Thursday during a graduation ceremony of nearly 3,000 university students at the Diamond Island Convention and Exhibition Center.

He has expressed concern about the safety of citizens and students in the area and advised to solve this problem before the students' enrollment and if the students are in school, they must evacuate them.

"This is our issue. We will wait until we die for the US to come to remove it. We need to solve this problem through the National Arms Commission, and we have to evacuate the people by our specialists,” stated the premier.

PM Hun Sen asked U.S Ambassador to Cambodia, William A. Heidt to visit two U.S chemical weapons exploration sites in Svay Rieng province and asked the U.S to consider the problem of the remaining bombs during the war, not just about collecting US debt and soldiers’ remains.
