Phnom Penh (FN), September 3 - Three Cambodian national football players and former Cambodian coaches have decided to team up and help train and improve football legacy at American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP) soon.
“I am delighted to coach AUPP students in the field of football,” said Prak Sovannara, a former national football coach for Cambodia's All Stars.
Prak Mony Udom and Keo Sok Pheng, Cambodian professional footballers confirmed that they are also ready to assist AUPP students to become good players.
"I am very happy because I decided to choose the right university and study at the best university, and at the same time I have the opportunity to continue playing mid-career at the university," Kim Hab, an outstanding player under the age of 19 and now a first-year student at AUPP.
Soon, AUPP is constructing the first FIFA World Cup Football Field in Cambodia at AUPP University Campus located in Russei Keo district, Phnom Penh.
AUPP is a leading provider of quality education, and is the first higher education institution in Cambodia, offering students a two-year degree program (Dual Degrees). After a successful completion at AUPP, a diploma will be passed by AUPP and another degree by AUPP's partnered universities, either the FHSU or the University of Arizona in the United States.
