PHNOM PENH (FN), Feb. 15 — Thai princess, Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, will pay a visit to Cambodia next week, at the invitation of Prime Minister Hun Sen, said Cambodia Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

According to the Ministry’s press release issued on Feb. 15, the princess is scheduled to visit Cambodia from Feb.22, through Feb.24.

During the visit, the princess will pay a courtesy call on His Majesty King Norodom Sihamony and Prime Minister Hun Sen, the press release said.

Princess Sirindhorn is also scheduled to preside over, jointly with Prime Minister Hun Sen, the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of “Kampong Speu Institute of Technology,” according to the press release.

Together with the Minister of Education Youth and Sports, Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Princess Sirindhorn will preside over a ceremony to hand over a solar-powered building at Kampong Chheuteal Institute of Technology, Kampong Thom, a province in the heart of the country, about 160km from Phnom Penh.

Lastly, the princess is scheduled to preside over the inauguration of a health center in Ratanakiri province, about 500km to the north of Cambodia, followed by a series of activities namely the inauguration of the new name board of Kampong Chheuteal Institute of Technology in Kampong Thom as well as visits to primary schools in some provinces.
