Phnom Penh (FN), October 23 - Lu Laysreng, former senior member of royalist FUNCINPEC Party, left Cambodia on Monday morning for Bangkok.

The immediate trip was made after Prime Minister Hun Sen and the FUNCINPEC Party warned to file lawsuits against him, accusing him of insulting King Norodom Sihamoni.

On Sunday night, Lu Laysreng said he was not scared of being arrested and he could be found at his home.

Lu Laysreng had left Cambodia together with his granddaughter.

The allegations against Lu Laysreng were made after his video clip was released on Facebook over the past few days.
