United States (FN), Feb. 16 — The last session of the summit meeting between U.S. President Barak Obama with ASEAN leaders began Tuesday morning, Feb. 16, (U.S local time).

In a post on his Facebook page, Prime Minister Hun Sen said that the summit meeting had established a strategic partnership between the U.S. and ASEAN that would greatly contribute to peace and further national development.

“This morning is the last session of the summit meeting between ASEAN leaders with the U.S. President. The strategic partnership between ASEAN and the U.S. would be greatly beneficial for peace and our national development,” said the premier on his Facebook page.

“I am not a journalist, but I want our people in Cambodia to get updated information as quickly as possible and that’s why I spent times at the meeting to send this message through my Facebook. I hope I would not be criticized as Facebook Prime Minister,” said the premier.
