Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 11 – Cambodia and Vietnam pledged to complete border demarcation by 2018 in hope of peace, stability, development, trade, and tourism between the two countries.

The pledge was made at the meeting hosted by the Vietnamese Prime Minister in Da Nang province, where PM Hun Sen led a delegation of informal talks between ASEAN leaders with APEC leaders.

During the talks, the two leaders discussed the importance of strengthening and expanding relations and cooperation in all fields for the two countries.

PM Hun Sen also met with Tran Dai Quang, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, who made a warm welcoming to the presence of PM Hun Sen and the delegation.

Tran Dai Quang praised PM Hun Sen's remarks of commitment to find solutions and benefits for the whole region, especially the relations between ASEAN countries and APEC countries.

The two leaders suggested a joint exchange of visits between Vietnamese and Cambodians to celebrate the 50 years diplomatic relations between the two countries.
