New York, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale jolted 137 km SSE of Sinabang, Indonesia at 23:41:54 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 9.15 km, was initially determined to be at 1.3674 degrees north latitude and 96.9243 degrees east longitude.
