Siem Reap (FN), Dec. 1 - Cambodia won three gold medals in the ASEAN ICT Challenge Program 2017, which was conducted in Siem Reap from Nov. 29 -30 hosted and organized by the National Institute of NIPTICT.

The ASEAN ICT Challenge Competition is an annual event of ASEAN, in conjunction with the ASEAN Telecommunications Ministers' Meeting, aiming to promote information and communication technology development and innovation with the recognition of the outstanding achievements of the ICT companies throughout ASEAN.

There were 6 countries amongst 10 ASEAN countries won the competition, including Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Laos.

Three Cambodian companies received the gold medals: Camtasia Technology, Open Institute, and Codingate.

Cambodia has been participating in the tournament every year and has always been awarded medals since 2014.
