Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 12 – Senior Minister Orm Yentieng, President of Anti-Corruption Unit said that former lawmakers, said that provincial council chiefs and commune council members of the former dissolved opposition party are required to declare their assets within 30 days; otherwise would face a maximum sentence of one month.

His announcement was made during his inauguration with HE Mam Bunheng, Minister of Health, Keo Remy, the head of the Cambodia Human Rights Committee, and Hun Many, President of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia, to celebrate National and International Anti-Corruption Day from Dec. 9 to Dec. 12, 2017, with a participation of around 3,000 people at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia.

Senior Minister added that all officials were required to declare their assets since the party was dissolved, with the Ministry of Interior being the authority on the procedure.
