Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 15 - DAEHAN AUTO (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD will operate the auto assembly plant in Bavet city, Svay Rieng Province by early 2018 with the capacity to install 20,000 vehicles per year and employ about 10,000 people, according to the company's announcement on Friday.

The company is the second largest company to receive permission from the Royal Government of Cambodia to invest in the auto assembly plants.

The presence of the company is potential for Svay Rieng province, which is in line with the Royal Government of Cambodia's poverty reduction policy that can contribute to improving the living standards of the people in the region.
