Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 15 - The Supreme Court of Cambodia decided on Friday not to re-examine the dissolution of the opposition party.

The Supreme Court's decision is a dismissal of former officials of Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP), who filed a lawsuit last week to the Supreme Court to re-examine CNRP’s case.

The Court decided firmly based on the new Amendments to Law on Political Party that it is not allowed to reopen the trial.

Cambodian opposition party was dissolved on November 16, 2017, and 118 opposition party leaders were suspended from political activities for five years.
